Oxygen may have snagged the attention of 1.1 million viewers for the premiere of the controversial reality show, “The Preachers Of L.A.,” but Bishop Jakes isn’t one of the admirers. Bishop T. D. Jakes, of “The Potter’s House” in Dallas, Texas, is one of the most influential men in America. Even though according to Jakes the show has fouled out, the records prove that many others thought it was a homerun.
The show circles the lives of six Christian ministers; three bishops and three pastors. The show did take some harsh hits on social media from disapproving viewers but it also established a definite following.
